A group of parents began working together in 2006 to realize the dream of providing an educational choice for families in Gooding and surrounding communities. The result of the efforts of founders, Debra Infanger, Gayle Yakovac-DeSmet, Danielle Lofgran, Jennifer Andrus, James R. Dalton, and Judy K. Studebaker is North Valley Academy.  Home of the Patriots!

The Idaho Public Charter School Commission approved North Valley Academy’s charter on December 20, 2007. The school is governed by an independent board:  Debra Infanger, MaryBelle Anderson, Nadine Koyle, James R. Dalton, Dan Turner, and Tonya Boyer.
