NVA's student handbook contains important information about the school calendar, attendance and other important policies, extracurricular activities, etc. The handbook also contains information regarding NVA’s expectations of student behavior. We believe that all behavior is the result of making choices, and we expect students to understand and be responsible for the choices they make each day.
We have high expectations of our students and ourselves. Parents are asked to read this handbook with their child as it will:
-
Provide an opportunity for parents to understand our school rules and expectations;
-
Ensure that all students know and understand school expectations;
-
Help students understand the consequences of their behavior, both positive and negative; and
-
Assist staff in teaching and encouraging students to assume responsibility for themselves.
